After more than a decade of absence in the local music scene, The Bernadettes return with another fuzzy, garage rock anthem that helps steer the beer-chugging conversation into a riot fest. Their latest single “Worthless Beautiful” bounces all the way back to the late 2000s as it captures the sound of a rock record on full blast—bursting with exhilaration and recklessness, and bludgeoning one chord to another in an attempt to recreate in music form, the best days of our lives.
lyrics
Bitches and Coffee
Well it's all complicated, it's all complicated
Yourself on TV
Well my mind is fixated, my mind is fixated
You know it's wrong
And you know it's wrong
And you know. and you know, and you know
And you know it's wrong. woh, oh oh, oh
Get a number
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Sons and daughters
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Never sober
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
We flock together
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Bottles and bottles
My soul has been burning, my soul has been burning
Prisons our motels
The world has been turning, the world has been turning
And you know it's wrong
An itty-bitty wrong
And you know. and you know, and you know
And you know it's wrong. woh, oh oh, oh
Get a number
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Sons and daughters
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Never sober
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
We flock together
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Get a number
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Sons and daughters
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Never sober
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
We flock together
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
The world on your shoulder
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Winners and losers
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Follow the leader
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
We're here forever
We are worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
Worthless beautiful, worthless beautiful
